Preflop Basics

Observations
- RFI frequencies in CO and BTN are lower among “Regulars” and “Crushers” than GTO suggests. However, the GTO solution is setup for 100 BB strategy. In reality the average stack-size is shorter, especially on High Stakes at ACR and on any stake at GG. The conclusion is that both player groups (Regulars, Crushers) most likely play close to optimal preflop.
- The same thing can be said about “Crushers” limping from SB at higher than GTO frequencies. The average stack-size is lower than 100 BB in these games, therefore a higher “SB limp %” is more optimal.

- “BTN Cold Call%” is also lower than suggested, which can be trailed back to effective stack-size and also higher rake structures. Below are two examples which illustrate this. First image shows at lower effective stack size, 75 BB. The second image show a higher rake structure at 100 BB.
